History

Credito Italiano (Ireland) Limited was incorporated on
7th November 1995. The company changed its name
to Credito Italiano Bank (Ireland) Limited on 19th
December 1997 and received a banking licence from
the Central Bank of Ireland to carry on the business
of banking on 24th December 1997.

Re-registration as a public limited company was
completed on 2nd April 1998, and the company
changed its name to UniCredito Italiano Bank (Ireland)
p.l.c. on 1st November 1999.

On 12th December 2007, the company changed it's name to UniCredit Bank Ireland p.l.c

The bank now has 30 employees and total assets in excess of Euro 27 billion (as at 31 December 2008).
